Shriya Saran Biography
Shriya Saran was born in Dehradun to Pushpendra Saran and Neeraja Saran. She was brought up in Ranipur, a few miles from Haridwar. Her father Pushpendra Saran works at Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. and her mother is a school teacher, teaching chemistry. Saran is their second child and her elder brother Abhiroop, is married to Aarti and they have a son, Dhruv. Shriya completed her schooling from Delhi Public School, Haridwar. She did her college from Lady Shri Ram College and has got a B.A. degree to her credit. She has been training Kathak and classical dance from her young age and is an accomplished Kathak dancer. She learned dancing under the guidance of Shovana Narayan. Saran's dream is to be kathak dancer like her kathak teacher Shoba Narayan since childhood.
