The film industry has often been known for coming out with some of the most flashy outfits and glitzy dresses which in real life might make one look like a jester.
Also, it is a very common thing to note that most of the film folk are identified easily by looking at the dresses they wear and the colors they have.
However, there are also those who really have the correct sense of dressing and in fact set new trends and style mantras. One among them happens to be the stunning beauty Lakshmi Prasanna, better known as the daughter of Mohan Babu.
Lakshmi Manchu is the perfect definition of style, beauty and elegance and the most important thing that catches the eye of the onlooker is her dressing sense.
Lakshmi Manchu has always been known to come up with the latest of fashion and her gracious looks really suit any sort of outfit she wears. Off late, folks say that she has been setting some new trends in the tinsel town and those ladies who watch her are said to be rushing to their personal designers to come up with something similar.
One of India and Americas most striking leading ladies, Lakshmi Manchu burst upon on world stage at the tender age of 4, and hasn’t stopped working since. She’s been in feature films in India and the U.S, and has a production company with her father.
Dr Mohan Babu (Sree lakshmi Prasanna Pictures) that has produced 49 feature films.
Lakshmi has guest starred in several television series, and currently has the recurring guest starring role of Sarasvati Kumar on the show Las Vegas on NBC where she’s the love interest of James leisure and has had the pleasure of working with such stars as James Caan, Sylvester Stallone, Lara Flynn Boyle and Josh Duhamel, just to name a few.
She has appeared in national commercial campaigns for Toyota Chevrolet and the AARP.
Most recently she directed produced acted in perfect lives a short film that was accepted and screened at the Wilshire Fine arts theatre as part of the La Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles. Lakshmi Manchu holds a degree in theatre from Oklahoma City University she then continued at USC for film production she presently trains at the Beverly Hills playhouse with Milton Katselas Richard Lawson and Gray Imhoff.
“Filmmaking has always been a passion, I was raised in a film family, and I saw my dad go off to work for many, many house a day and it was so clear how much he loved his work. I promised myself would never do something just because I was compelled to do it. Now I’m in the same industry and I don’t feel like I am working but that I’m really living life and enjoying it to the fullest.”
