 Jayamalini Biography

 Jayamalini was born in Sullurpet, Andhra Pradesh.

Career

She had a dance number in Shalimar, (1978) starring Rex Harrison, Dharmendra and Zeenat Aman, which were in both English and Hindi versions. She also had a raunchy dance number, which was provocatively titled "Mamalu Mamalu Babalu Babulu", in the movie "Maha Shaktimaan". Her sister Jyothi Lakshmi was also a cabaret dancer in films.

Personal life

After she retired from films, she married a police inspector and is settled in Chennai with her children. She has decided that she won't let her daughter enter films. In 2005, the former actress and dancer was busy looking for a writer to help pen her biography.
