Anusha Dandekar Biography

Anusha Dandekar was born and bred in Australia. She lived there for 18 long years. In India, she has been working as MTV’s VJ for the show ‘Style Check’.

This 23-year-old girl got her Bollywood break when one of Mahesh Manjrekar’s assistants approached her with the idea to cast her in a role in the movie ‘Viruddh’.

She then met the movie’s director, Manjrekar, on the sets, where she got a full narration. Manjrekar gave her a day to decide if she was interested, but Anusha confides that she didn’t even need one second.

Luckily, she did not have to audition for the role of half Indian and half British girl in the film.

Anusha says her dream role is to play a blonde bimbo cheerleader in a mainstream Hollywood film.
